Chiropractic

Chiropractors practice primarily using their hands, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints.

Massage Therapy

**At the present time, Andrew is only taking new clients for Manual Osteopathic Therapy**
Massage Therapy is a collection of manual techniques applied to the muscles, soft tissues and joints of the body to maintain or improve physical function and/or relieve pain.

Manual Osteopathy

This treatment consists of Massage techniques (e.g. compressions, myofascial release, trigger
point therapy, joint mobilizations) combined with FST (Fascia Stretch Therapy) and IASTM
(Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization)
FST is a form of pain-free therapist-assisted stretching that uses gentle oscillating movements
of traction and stretch to decompress joints and expand space in the soft tissues (muscles,
fascia, etc). The benefits of an FST and Massage Therapy combined treatment can include
reduction in pain, muscle tension and post-exercise muscle soreness; lower levels of stress,
anxiety, and depression. FST and Massage Therapy can also improve joint mobility, circulation,
lymphatic drainage, recovery and tissue healing after injury, sleep, mood and mental alertness.
IASTM is a skilled intervention that includes the use of specialized tools to manipulate the skin,
myofascia, muscles, and tendons by various direct compressive stroke techniques. Clinical
studies have shown IASTM treatments can improve ROM, strength and pain perception
